“The arts can help rebuild a community based on trust and confidence, and the arts can foster creative exploration of and reflection on the inner worlds that all of us inhabit.”
Dr Deborah Kirklin
Arc Community Gallery
The Arc Community Gallery is located in our spacious studios in South Reddish and is open to the general public.
Regular opening times are 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, Saturdays by arrangement, and the gallery has full disabled access.
The gallery has a regularly changing display of high quality arts and crafts, including photography, jewellery, fine art and knitwear, all of which is for sale at affordable prices. The display is renewed and refreshed, to encourage visitors to return regularly.
There is a particular focus on supporting artists who are at the outset of their careers, especially those who have been marginalised or socially excluded, for instance because of mental illness.
The gallery also hosts community-focused exhibitions.
Please see the news section for regular updates about forthcoming events and exhibitions.
Arc at the Oasis Café
You are now able to find the work of arc’s talented community of artists regularly on display and for sale at the Oasis café in Stepping Hill Hospital and, from March, at the Inspire Centre in Levenshulme.
